October 07, 2004 New Skin
The long-awaited CMU-based skin is finally up! It's the default skin for those of you without a skin memorized... if you do have a skin memorized, you have to go set it (through "Skins" or "Skin site") to check it out.
This new skin took a long time to create simply because the script at the top was so long to write. Basically, it reads the time in EST, then checks it against my schedule and tells you which class I'm currently in and what class I have next. The header changes depending on that. Please, if you see any bugs at all with that script, tell me about it. I havn't had time to fully debug the script.
Speaking of which, I've removed all the skin numbers from every page. Now, if you want to change the skin, click on either the "Skin" or "Skin site" link (depending on the skin), and choose your skin from there.
As always, please leave comments about the new skin? Thoughts? Hate it? Love it?
Edit: I fixed some of the glaring errors from testing today. And I realized that two hours of coding yesterday were pointless, because I could have done the next-class check method with two lines of code... instead of the 10 for loops with nested if statements I used. Bleah. But yeah, the script should be working now. Test it out tomorrow during the day, and PLEASE report any errors to me!

I think the font's size of the class status is too small.

I'm feelin' it. I like the layout. Fall Break is this week, so I get to completely retool my site, and learn better layers and actually implement some CSS. Hopefully I can start learning PHP as well.
